Trattasi di resina utilizzata per la stampa 3D . In questa recensione tratterò la resina di colore “Ceramic Grey“. Il prodotto in se non riporta particolari odori sgradevoli (tipici della resina classica, quella lavabile con alcool isopropilico).
È di facile utilizzo, come tutte le resine del resto, con l’accortezza di usare sempre mascherina e guanti perché ricordo che, nonostante sia lavabile in acqua, rimane sempre tossica.
Il prodotto polimerizza con lunghezza d’onda di 405 nm e si ottengono stampe con discreti dettagli.
Sul sito di Elegoo è presente anche il file (google drive) con i settaggi ottimali per la stampante riguardanti la resina in questione. Consiglio sempre di fare delle prove con qualche benchmark perché la buona riuscita della stampa dipende anche dalle condizioni ambientali (se per esempio stampate con basse temperature tipo 10/12 gradi è consigliabile aumentare il tempo di esposizione sia per i primi layers che per tutta la durata della stampa).
In conclusione posso sicuramente affermare che è una buona resina e ne consiglio l’utilizzo. Soprattutto per coloro che non vogliono cimentarsi con l’uso di quella classica e quindi l’utilizzo dell’alcool isopropilico per i lavaggi.
Ultimo consiglio che mi sento di dare è quello di prendersi anche una così detta “Wash and Cure” (di qualsiasi marca) per poter lavare accuratamente l’oggetto stampato e procedere successivamente alla “cura” ovvero alla solidificazione permanente tramite raggi UV.

This is a resin used for 3D printing. In this review, I will discuss the “Ceramic Grey” resin. The product itself does not emit any particular unpleasant odors (typical of classic resin, the one washable with isopropyl alcohol).
It is easy to use, like all resins, with the caution of always wearing a mask and gloves because, remember, despite being washable with water, it remains toxic.
The product cures with a wavelength of 405 nm, and prints with decent details. On the Elegoo website, there is also a file (Google Drive) with the optimal settings for the printer regarding the resin in question. I always recommend conducting some tests with a few benchmarks because the success of the print also depends on environmental conditions (for example, if you print at low temperatures like 10/12 degrees Celsius, it is advisable to increase the exposure time for both the first layers and the entire duration of the print).
In conclusion, I can definitely say that it is a good resin, and I recommend using it. Especially for those who do not want to deal with the use of the classic resin and thus the use of isopropyl alcohol for cleaning.
One last piece of advice I feel compelled to give is to also get a so-called “Wash and Cure” machine (from any brand) to thoroughly clean the printed object and then proceed to the “curing” or permanent solidification through UV rays.
